Life In Miniature
Project Aims
This project is about creating a concept and telling a story through photographs, using toys for characters. The photos should make use of correct photographic techniques. I  created a story using 6 scenes that serves a specific purpose in telling the story. I chose specific toys according to what will work for my concept, while using interesting elements to help tell my story, I was not allowed to use Photoshop to edit elements into my photo, but I was allowed to edit elements out of my photo.
The Concept
The concept for this project came to life while thinking back to when I was a little girl, I use to love looking at paintings in my grandmother's house (she is an artist) and envisioning myself climbing into a painting or touching something within the painting. My storyline is about an artist who is obsessed with dinosaurs and thinking about how 'cool' it would be to interact with the dinosaur. Suddenly a portal opens up through the painting, pulling the artist into the dinosaur world. After spending some time with the dinosaur he decided to bring the dinosaur back home with him to start studying the dinosaur.
